Up In the Air
(verse)
I can feel the sweet breeze blowing
Soaking up the love we’re floating in
I can hear your heartbeat slowing
Knowing that we’re heading home again
Everywhere I’ve traveled so far
Always leads me back to this place
And I can see your eyes are glowing
And I know my heart is always safe
(pre-chorus)
You’ll never take us so far
That we will lose our way
(chorus)
Cause baby when we’re flying
I can’t keep the smile off my face
And I’m not gonna hide it
‘Cause there’s nothing sweeter I can taste
I can feel us fight it
Holding on to anchor us in place
But baby when we’re flying
I can’t keep the smile off my face
(verse)
Looking out the work is shrinking
Down below it all just carries on
You and I have got me thinking
Just how much we need to see beyond
Everywhere that we’ve waited for
Suddenly has fallen in place
This could be our new beginning
Blasting off to be alone in space

VERSE 1
Remember what I thought we had
Remember when you held me close
When I thought I’d see you there
I turn around and find your ghost
I hear it in your voice
I feel it in your soul
You aren’t the enemy
That I’ll be letting go
PRE-CHORUS
You can’t see what I bring
You can’t feel what’s in me
Look my way, before you go
Cause I’m about to let you know
CHORUS
That we could find a better way
But I won’t beg you to stay
Don’t let this end today
VERSE 2
It’s not about the times we’ve shared
It’s not about the days we’ve spent
Too many memories
Swimming around my head
You’ll hear it in my voice
You’ll hear it in my soul
I’m not the enemy
Just thought I’d let you know
PRE-CHORUS
CHORUS
BRIDGE x2
I’ll never let go of you
If you never let go of me
I’ll never let go of you
It’s clear as I can see

Dead In The Water

DEAD IN THE WATER
For the shore as the night is slipping through my hands
I fall into the sea like the empire built on the sand
I've been thinking 'bout the days when we had no money
That photograph of you, well it still seems funny
Gotta get back to the promised land
So don't walk away love
There's never enough that could make me crash on the broken glass
Let the storm rage, I'd die on the waves
But I will not rest while love lies dead in the water
Dead in the water
In the water
Dead in the water
I'm waiting for the calm as the storm is getting under my skin
I'm trying to fix the hole in my head where the rain gets in
It's dripping in my ear, and it don't sound funny
I'm gonna take you out when I get some money
We're trying to get it back to the promised land
So don't walk away love
There's never enough that could make me crash on the broken glass
Let the storm rage, I'd die on the waves
But I will not rest while love lies dead in the water
Dead in the water
In the water
Dead in the water
So don't walk away love
There's never enough that could make me crash on the broken glass
Let the storm rage, I'd die on the waves
But I will not rest while love lies dead in the water
There's never enough that could make me crash on the broken glass
Let the storm rage, I'd die on the waves
But I will not rest while love lies dead in the water
Dead in the water
In the water
Dead in the water
